How the Illinois knowledge test works
The written knowledge test has 35 multiple-choice questions, and you need 28 right (80%) to pass. This practice exam uses the same size and pass mark.
Based on the Illinois Rules of the Road (2026 (DSD A 112.47)). Always confirm the current test with the official licensing agency.
